Birgunj, Feb 25: Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP) Chair Anil Kumar Jha has demanded formation of a high-level judicial probe commission to investigate into the suppression and human rights violation meted out in course of the Madhes struggle.
At a discussion with party’s district-level frontline cadres on Wednesday, leader Jha said the agitation would be continued till the agendas put forth by Madhes-based parties were not addressed.
The form of the agitation has been changed for now, he said, adding a meeting of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) soon would finalize the further programme of agitation in Madhes.
He noted the UDMF would not join the high-level political mechanism led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa when its work procedures and scope of works are not made clear.
