The District Police Office, Mahottari, said that critically injured in the incident Biltuniyadevi Dhanuk, 60, of Sonama VDC-8 died on the way to Janakpur Zonal Hospital.
Motorcyclist Rajabul Momin, 22, of the same area hit the elderly woman when she was standing in front of her house at around 8:00 pm. Police said that Momin is absconding after the incident.
