Itahari , Feb 26: UCPN (Maoist) leader and Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma has described Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s recent state visit to India successful.
Speaking at a press meet organised by the Revolutionary Journalists’ Association in Itahari Friday, leader Sharma said the visit has succeeded in clearing off misunderstanding seen of late between two close neighbours. The relations with India now be established at the political level, too, he said, adding that the Prime Minister’s visit remained successful to some extent towards that end.
He further said the Madhes agitation launched showing unhappiness over the new constitution caused a big loss to the Indian business community as well.
Stating that Dr Baburam Bhattarai, who already walked out of the party association, has deviated from the leftist movement and no cooperation with him seemed possible at present, Sharma expressed his hope that reunion will be held with others ( who earlier with the party) and now remained at a distance from the party due to various reasons.
He further said the constitution drafted by the people’s representatives is not unchangeable and there is no need to panic about it
